I came across this on a walk recently. Apparently the cows in this field (who weren't there when we visited) have all been trained to eat weeds rather than grass. They're more nutritious for the cows and the native grasses are given a better opportunity to grow, increasing the biodiversity of plants, insects, birds, and other wildlife, as well as improvements in the soil. Who knew you could train a cow?
